"I made most of this EP after moments where I was struggling a lot in 2024 whether it was personally, mentally, physically, spiritually, financially… everything.

The EP is called Selah. It appears 73 times in the Book of Psalms and 3 times in Habakkuk. Its official meaning is unknown, but one explanation used to represent this EP is that it indicates a moment to “pause” and “reflect.” In those low moments, the only thing I could do was pause life for a moment, reflect, work on my situation, and use music as therapy, which resulted in these 8 songs. 

The sound and direction of this album were inspired by my first experience at a festival (Truck Festival), seeing some of my favourite rock bands live, as well as Brodie Rimera’s amazing album Jazz Punk, and the other Brodies MosiAhade, Waldo, and Tristan."
